This is a one of a kind beast! It’s a Gibson Custom Shop Zakk Wylde. It has the traditional black and antique white bull’s-eye graphics, an oiled raw maple neck, mahogany back with carved maple top, and an ebony fret board with pearl block inlays. According to Larry English, the former Executive Vice President of Gibson,”This was a gift from Zakk Wylde to our dear friend Dimebag Darrell. It was a custom guitar I had built for Zakk… Dime later gifted it to me as an expression of our friendship. Note his personal pick with the X’s he always carved on them for grip.” Mr. English also worked with Dime on his Washburn line of guitars, as well as his signature pickups and several signature effects pedals. This guitar was purchased directly from Larry English and remains in excellent condition. Original case included as well as Certificate of Authenticity. It’s difficult to think of many guitarists that did more for the Metal than these two masters. I have refused to wipe the guitar down; the prints on this baby belong to legends!
